Joint design — practical recommendations

NR613 key design considerations:

Favor in-plane shear loading
Avoid local peel / mode I (use smooth transitions)
Define adhesive thickness range and tolerances
Consider thermal expansion coefficient
Brittle joints → prefer validation by tests (Method C / A).
